This digital interactive was developed for gem and mineral halls as a way to encourage visitors to spend more time exploring the geologic origins of the dazzling jewelry on display. Through an animated narrative timeline, visitors can witness the history of a gemstone. The digital format offers an opportunity to show the long geologic processes involved in this history.
