This hallway exhibition project was inspired by David Grann's article "The Squid Hunter" for The New Yorker. I expanded upon the adventurous quest narrative of the article by exploring similar myths and literature the giant squid has inspired throughout history and across cultures, pairing historical texts with artistic works that bring the stories to life as visitors walk through the hall.
